  1. Tony Schramm says:

For me, it is the fellowship, support and love that I feel from my church family. It is volunteering my time to assist with supporting the ministries of the church, in all its iterations. It is the community outreach that we do, whether it be the food pantry, the thrift shop, the holiday baskets, the deaf church, assisting at soup kitchens, or in other ways. It is helping in the community. It is the personal giving that I do, whether monetarily, or through items that are given, or by time I have offered. It is my way of sharing the gifts that God has provided for me with those who are struggling to meet their needs. It is the handshake, the hug, the advice I receive and give, the new people I meet every day, the smiles that I try to share with everyone I see, known and unknown. I try to take in the love in the world that others offer, while also sharing some of mine. It is the mentoring I receive, intentional or not, by watching others.
