Food collection for Thanksgiving baskets
will be following the schedule below:
Sunday, October 1st: Yams/sweet potatoes
Sunday, October 8th: Cake mix and frosting
Sunday, October 15th: Stuffing and turkey gravy
Sunday, October 22nd: Biscuit/cornbread mix, canned green beans
Sunday, October 29th: Boxed mashed potato mix, cranberry sauce
We are also collecting gift cards from Giant Food for the turkeys for both holidays. Please place your gift cards in an envelope marked “Holiday Baskets” and leave in the collection plate or use the “Checks” slot in the mailbox area next to the church office. There will be envelopes available in the Narthex as well as on the Missions Table in the Fellowship Hall or you may use your own, please indicate “Holiday Baskets” in the memo section of your check.
The congregation of Perry Hall United Methodist Church is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all children, youth, and volunteers who participate in ministries and activities sponsored by the church. If you work with children and youth within the life of the church, you are asked to view the PowerPoint and fill out the three documents included with it. Once you have completed the forms, please return all documents to the church office. The Power point and documents are available on the church Facebook page or the church website: www.perryhallumc.org/services . If you are unable to view the PowerPoint or download the documents please contact the church office. We can make them available to you by email or in print format. All persons are expected to be re-certified every 2 years.
