Fellowship Groups

Altar Guild ~

The Altar Guild is a group of two person rotating teams that is responsible for setting up the altar for Sunday morning service, weddings, baptisms, communion, Christmas, Easter, and all other church services. We also schedule acolytes for services.

Prayer Chain ~

Prayer requests are accepted from all sources. To ask for prayer, or to become a praying member of this telephone chain of prayer warriors, contact the church office at 410-256-6479.

W.I.S.H. Group ~

Women Interested in Studying and Helping. We meet the first Thursday of every month at 10 AM, except in July and August. As our name implies, we are interested in helping others as well as studying together to help us grow in our Christian lives.

Adult Activity Group ~

The Adult Activity Group is intended for all adults over the age of 18 (targeting especially frequent visitors and new members) as an opportunity to get acquainted, feel welcome and become involved in the life of the church in an informal setting. At least 4-6 activities per year occur on either a weekend day or evening and many are open to the youth or the entire church. Examples of past activities include: Dinner Theater; Pot Luck & Progressive Dinners; Movie & Board Game Nights; Bowling; Miniature Golf; BBQ & Crab Feast; and Christmas Caroling. We’d love for you to join us.

United Methodist Youth Fellowship ~

The United Methodist Youth includes young people in grades 6 through 12. Friends and tag-a-longs are always welcome. These youth are active in community service projects, such as Carpenter’s Kitchen. Past activities have included movie night, bowling night, lock ins, and get-together with other UMYF groups.

Children’s Fellowship ~

Children’s Fellowship is responsible for planning various activities throughout the year, including the Easter egg hunt, children’s games for the church picnic, movies, Halloween party, Unicef collections, and the children’s Christmas play. The children’s coordinator works with all groups and commissions to further the cause of the children in the church. All children are welcome.
