CROP Walk For Hunger Relief

CROP Hunger Walks are community-based walk events held in cities and towns across the United States, raising funds to support the global mission of Church World Service, a faith-based organization transforming communities around the globe through just and sustainable responses to hunger, poverty, displacement and disaster. Twenty five percent of the funds raised are returned to the host community to support local hunger fighting efforts.

Several  local UM churches will be participating in a CROP walk  on Sunday, October 24 starting at 2pm.

We will start and finish our walk at Camp Chapel UMC.
We will follow sidewalks to Perry Hall UMC, where the area food pantry is located.
We will return the same way.
We will cover about 4.5 miles.

You can join the team below or donate online through the link.
Please note: 25 % of the fundraiser will go to support the food bank here at PHUMC
